it's time to write things down

I have figured out that I make a fair few cakes in a year, either for birthdays, get-togethers, morning teas and just to give to friends, so I need a place that I can record what I have made and look back at these cakes and use them for ideas in future.

You would think that coming from a family with a mother who made heaps of cakes for the family and for many crazy brides, I would be a natural at making cakes, but I never really paid much attention to what my mother was doing, she would make the cakes while we were at school, so I never really saw the process.
But in saying that, my mother is always there when I need to ask her a question, and for that I am very grateful.
